Message Massive boost leak, could only approximate location, scheduled a plenum pull, which unfortunately took the better part of the summer to fit in. Last Sunday I popped the top and found this:

Made sure I didn't screw the pooch this time around and got the new one seated properly.

Broke in my new service cover:

Started a collection for a local sick kid. He said he wanted a cat:

The check for my new washer, dryer, and double oven main PCB board finally cleared. Enjoy it Rudy!

And for the locals, he works for Butterfinger ice cream bars

Flushed the coolant system today, that was a learning experience. I used a combination of methods posted here in the past, but ultimately changed it on the fly once the 160* water started spewing out of the garbage bag. Turns out, my OEM lower rad hose connects nicely to the upper water pipe. Blocked off the upper rad outlet, routed the old lower pipe over the front of the car and pointed it into my dog's water dish. Started the engine, turned the heater on high, and flushed the whole system until it was clear. Did a rinse with distilled water, filled with 50/50, and topped off with a bottle of water wetter. Changed the oil while I was down there as well. Hi Ahmed!

A bunch of Chicago Z owners are going to cruise to Starved Rock state park next weekend. I'm eager to get my car out on the road, trouble free, and decide my rear tires are inadequate.

WARNING: I lack industry backing
